2048 is an addictive sliding number puzzle. The board is a 4×4 grid that starts with two tiles, each showing the number 2 or 4. Your goal is to combine tiles to create the number 2048.

Swipe or use arrow keys to slide all tiles in one direction — up, down, left, or right. When two tiles with the same number collide, they merge into one tile with their combined value. After each move, a new tile (2 or 4) appears in a random empty spot.

Plan your moves carefully. Keep your highest-value tile in a corner and build a chain of descending values beside it. Avoid getting the board full with no possible merges — that's game over. The key strategy is to move primarily in two directions (like down and right) and only use the other directions when necessary.
