Peg Solitaire

Peg Solitaire is a single-player board game. The board starts with pegs filling every hole except the center. Your goal is to remove pegs until only one remains — ideally in the center hole.

Move by jumping one peg over an adjacent peg into an empty hole on the other side. The jumped peg is removed from the board. You can jump horizontally or vertically (not diagonally). Each move removes exactly one peg.

The game ends when no more jumps are possible. If only one peg remains, you win — and if it's in the center hole, that's a perfect game. If multiple pegs remain with no valid jumps, you'll need to try a different strategy.

A good opening tip: avoid clearing all the pegs from one area too early, as isolated pegs can become stranded with no available jumps. Try to keep your pegs clustered together. This free online version uses click or tap controls and works on any device.
